Claudia Laslie
Owner of Berkshire Rental Properties, Claudia has specialized in Southern Berkshire rentals since 2005. From her early days as a dancer at Jacob’s Pillow, on to a career as an international Ford model, now to her current role as a premier local Broker, and business owner, Claudia’s focus has always been on quality, beauty, curiosity, and connection. Claudia brings her worldly understanding of people, trends, adaptability and attention to detail, overseeing 30+ curated listings with a commitment to honesty and impeccably prepared homes.

As an 8th-generation Berkshires local, Sarah Dixon offers a depth of knowledge and connection to the region that is truly unmatched. After a successful career as a Technical Designer for nationally recognized brands, including Reebok, J.Jill, and TJ Maxx, she returned home in 2015, bringing with her a sharp eye for detail, design, and functionality. Since joining Berkshire Rental Properties in 2016 and earning her real estate license, Sarah has built a reputation for excellence in both real estate and luxury rental listing management. With over 10 years of experience, she has refined the art of guest and homeowner relations. She specializes in preparing homes for the rental market and advising owners on how to maximize income while consistently earning five-star reviews.

“Dixon Cottage was a wonderful surprise! We didn’t expect to be so charmed and feel so cozy! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and we were able to access our favorite shows on the TV. PLUS the backyard was amazing! Views overlooking a farmer’s field with mountains in the background all the while sitting in Adirondack chairs over a fire pit. Honestly, the home surpassed our expectations and we’re looking forward to enjoying it again!”

Loved our stay! House was beautiful and well maintained. Setting was fantastic especially the back deck. Extremely comfortable and beautiful !

Great place for a family to stay central to most Berkshire locations. We saw a show at Tanglewood and this spot was close by but also central to Great Barrington. The house itself was very clean and well appointed. Just the right amount of “stuff” to feel like you have everything you need without being cluttered. The extra 1/2 bathroom downstairs was nice as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Eight adults and two children stayed here comfortably. Very clean, well stocked, amenities were as listed. Loved the screened in porch. Billiards table was fun. The large couch in the living room was very deep and did not have adequate pillows for people to put behind their backs and be comfortable. Would be great if they would add more pillows or cushions. The host was very responsive to text messages we sent, and came quickly to repair the porch swing when it broke. The stairs going to the second floor and also to the basement are steep. They do have rails, though, and there are two bedrooms on the first floor. There are also two steps down to the living room, and it would be helpful if there was a rail there too especially if you are elderly. The surroundings are beautiful and interesting. A bear actually lumbered across the backyard on two occasions. We never saw it after that. It did not seem interested in us. Overall, our stay there was very fun, relaxing, and peaceful.
Well equipped home with gorgeous lake views and water "toys"
This is an immaculate house for the Berkshires. My friends and family have been coming to this area for years and this is one of the best houses we've rented. It's close enough to Great Barrington to easily access groceries and restaurants but far enough away to feel secluded and peaceful. The house itself was spotless and the amenities were great, new, functional, and high quality. We enjoyed just about everything the space had to offer from the massive TVs, to the ping pong table in the basement, to the hot tub, the fire pit, the amazing grill, the massive yard, and even just the beautiful views. The house can fit a small army if needed but it's perfect for any family or large group. I highly recommend this location and Berkshire Rental Properties.
It was a great stay. We really enjoyed the view and surrounding, of course heated swimming pool too.
The house was absolutely beautiful and cozy! The kitchen was well stocked so that meals could be prepared at the house. The back yard was well maintained and peaceful and a great place to have morning coffee. This property is well worth a visit.
